Weimann "Passion" C Trumpet
Excellent condition Weimann “Passion” C trumpet. I purchased this instrument new in 2017, and added the second slide with no keys to it shortly after. The slide with no keys makes the instrument respond in a much more nimble and light manner vs. the slide with A/C keys.
It also comes with two leadpipes, at the time I selected from three options, and chose the tightest, and most open, and have used the tighter leadpipe 95% of the time. I generally prefer tighter/lighter instruments, so that preference shouldn’t be too surprising.
It has been kept in excellent condition, was recently cleaned by Ion Balu (known for his work on French horns, particularly with rotors) and has been kept in excellent condition, and has never required repair beyond an occasional cleaning. It has accompanied me to multiple final rounds in auditions, work with professional orchestras at all different “levels” and is an absolute pleasure to play.
