Blueprinted by Osmun Music (James Becker) in 2017. The service included de-stressing braces, valve alignment, and removing factory solder burrs.
These modifications all made the horn, IMO, the ideal version of a 229 with the classic Bach sound. The leadpipe is a copy of an early Elkhart Bach 25H, which really evens up the blow and response over the modern 25H pipes. Some minor cosmetic blemishes from the maintenance but it is otherwise in great shape. No dents or dings.
