This old Conn 12A cornet from 1939 is as beautiful to play as it is to look at. Condition is very good and the original case and Conn 1 mouthpiece are included. One of the smart things Conn did with this horn was to make the third slide a bit longer eliminating the need for a ring to throw the slide on low D's and C#'s which doesn't affect notes with third valve combinations higher up the scale and with the large bore, you get a rich full sound showcasing the Coprion bell which Conn developed in those years. As the saying goes, "they don't make them like this anymore". Payment is check or money order as I don't accept electronic payment. Shipping via FedEx is included in the USA. Shipping charges internationally will be determined depending on location shipped to. |
