Have you ever wanted Getzen valves, but with a vintage Bach sound? This horn brings the best of both worlds. It's a great crossover horn that could work in any playing situation, with a tilt towards the Jazz/Commercial realm.
Modified by Jacob Hoskins with parts supplied from Miles O Malley, this is a one-of-a-kind horn with the following modifications:
A lightweight, side-seamed replica Bach 25 yellow brass bell (sourced from Miles O’Malley Brass)
A nickel silver Bach 25 lead pipe (also from O’Malley Brass)
A Bach NY-style mouthpiece receiver ordered custom from Conn-Selmer
A Bach NY-style tuning crook ordered from MK Drawing
Z braces and 2nd valve casing brace ordered from Allied Supply
Miscellaneous parts fabricated and soldered by Jake
There is lacquer wear at the valve block contact points, but otherwise the horn is in new condition. Compression, valves, and slides are all top notch and ready to go.
Why am I selling? After a long Bb horn safari, I've settled on another Bb as my primary and need to fund purchasing a C trumpet.
