Up for sale is this lovely Mt Vernon Bach Strad. Has a Dr Valve 545 leadpipe that makes the horn more open and drastically improves intonation. Has seen plenty of use, a testament to how great this instrument plays. ML bore, 23xxx serial puts the horn right around 1964, one of the last instruments crafted in NY. Horn has very small evidence of bell repair that has been fixed and does not affect the instrument.
If you don't mind some plating loss, this horn will serve you for many years.
