Selling my Weimann Passion rotary Bb. I purchased this instrument in 2022 from the 1st owner, a recently retired former principal player of a German orchestra/opera orchestra who used this, to pair with my Passion Heavy C trumpet. If you know about these horns they do not come up often.
I absolutely love this horn. It is one of, if not the easiest trumpet I’ve ever played. I am only listing since I have some photo equipment I use for my day job that needs financing, and this is my least used instrument at the moment so this is the first one in line to go. I’ve played this horn professionally in orchestras around the Twin cities area.
Some details:
-Passion Bb in Gold Plate (Standard weight Zirnbauer valve block)
-Standard weight valve caps
-Combined 1st and 3rd valve trigger (valves vented to allow use without valves being pushed down)
-Removable Leadpipe (not sure the size)
-3rd slide water key
-A and C Klappen (Vent Keys) and the standard Waterkey that also works for the F/Bb overtones
-Removable gold plated Kranz (Weight on the bell)
Horn is in excellent condition, no dents, or any mechanical issues, valve compression is excellent. Gold plate is 97-99% minus some very slight tarnish in areas and 2 small cosmetic marks on the bell (pictured) which can probably be buffed out with a machine, they were there when I purchased the horn; purely cosmetic, not noticeable unless you put a light to it.
Asking $6000 for this horn. A new one in this configuration directly from Weimann would require quite a bit of waiting and be over $7000 if ordered new. No Trades. Can do PayPal Goods and Services or other trusted payment option.

No case provided, can ship to CONUS (Excluding AK and HI) for free, international and non-Conus shipping at the expense of the buyer.
