A lovely classic Bach cornet from the Bronx-era (pre-Mt. Vernon).
Corporation - “New York 67” stamped on the bell.
ML-.459” bore, long bell configuration. This horn sounds sweet and focused. Can play super light with great agility on it. The valves are fast and quiet, slides all move well.
Compression is a B+. Great for a horn of this vintage and doesn’t sound or feel leaky when you play it.
Lacquer finish is about 70%, with wear in hand positions and bell edge, and flecks throughout.
Had one thin spot in the leadpipe expertly patched, as you can see in the photos.

Selling because I can’t remember the last time I needed to play the cornet and it really should be getting used by someone who’s going to appreciate it.

Includes the original Bach NY case and a Mt Vernon 7C mouthpiece.

Buyer pays shipping. Venmo or PayPal preferred. No trades at this time please.
