Thomas was kind enough to sign the bell when they were in town a few weeks ago. A work of art signed by my favorite trumpet player. Reluctantly listing to fund some recent acquisitions. There is no horn more fun to play.
The coveted Schagerl Gansch horn heavy raw brass Bb. I’m so reluctant to sell this. It’s just something every trumpet player should own at some point. It takes the mundane routine and makes everything more fun. It’s designed by my favorite living trumpet player. It’s delicate, bold, funny, brilliantly engineered and makes for the most fun I can have just picking up a horn to noodle a bit. She’s been proudly on display on my piano for the daily toot or passage-check on whatever rep I’m about to go play. Every time I’ve performed with this horn, it’s a head-turner before they know that I’m playing something uncommon. Purchased from Austin custom brass during Covid and kept the flame lit. It still gives me the fizz. $4300
