|
I have noticed that a few topics that I have been watching have been suddenly deleted. This usually happens just after someone has made a negative comment about another (usually someone famous)'s trumpet playing. Although negative, most of these comments have been tactfully said. I am not saying that I agree or disagree with what has been said, but feel that it is unfair to delete a topic just because there is negativity. Although I didn't post any negativity I definately like other trumpet players better than some others and just because I were to type something negative, there is no reason to restrict people from seeing what I had to say. _________________ Joe Petrocelli |

I know how TH works. I just think it is unfair in general. Profanities and basic disrespect are one thing. But it seems that topics lately have been erased a little more liberally than perhaps they should. _________________ Joe Petrocelli |

Mm there is a problem that I have noticed...
When someone asks one question, many facts may be given etc about the general topic but the specific question is never answered.
People go off on tangents before they type down the answer to the question in the first place.
I don't post much on the site...but with reading other peoples questions/concerns and the responses often there is a lot that is interesting (or not) that is irrelevant to the question without a real answer.
sorry for hijacking the thread... _________________ Charles Russell Roberts

Given what was going on about a year ago, I'll take what we have now. There is a marked decline in flaming and posturing, at least as far as I can see. Hopefully, we'll see some of the talented people who walked away from the trash talk coming back. _________________ Schilke B4L

I've got to go with Dan on this one. I am glad to see some topics go because the TH was kind of degenerating into a free for all in a bad way
Thanks moderators!
Peace

Opinions vary... As long as we get about 50-50 "too many, too few" posts about threads/posts that deleted/edited/whatever I figure we're about right... But, feedback is always appreciated, and does get discussed.
As was said above (by user Cheng, I believe?) if it's in a dedicated Forum, PM the Moderator of that Forum. Otherwise, send a PM to Moderators.
