Who knows what about Ray Vega? He's here this weekend, and I wanna know what to expect. I talked to one guy that played with him 4 or 5 years ago. Said he PLAYED.

Ray is amazing...and not to be missed. I owe Ray a FlightTest hat and an old Mariner baseball cap...with a handwritten Yankee's Suck (just razzin cause I think he is a Mets fan??
He just got back from Spain and E mailed me and said he expects to collect another cap or two.

| I went and saw Ray Vega at Tulas alomst a year ago. It was a pretty good show, mostly jazz combo stuff, and he had some cool licks. It was my understanding that he used to play with Tito Puente, but the show I saw didn't reflect that. |

I'd bet it did, in some way 
Well, I'll be there Friday night, with "bells" on. Something tells me I'll be able to spot ***BaDbOy dOn*** 
I'm the bald kid with rosy cheeks, glasses and a goatee. (Yeah, I know, I got problems....)

Hey Don, I think there is already 4 or 5 of us going. I've been telling everyone I know to go check it out.

Ever since one dreadful day years ago while airbrushing a behind schedule DROP-DEAD DEADLINE ARTIST RENDERING of cut-a-way drawing combat-mode F-22 Cockpit interior layout
(with overlays) THEN...after 2hrs. of spraying a mixture of Rotring DayGlow green and Createx mellow yellow-neon...I actually began to hear sweet angels sing...and truly began to see that noted tunnel of light---------------never mind!!! Anyhoo after that experience I began to play my Callet in the strangest of nodle-noodling of tongues...that even DAVE DOUGLAS would be ENVUS of...and again, had at times, this strange new ability to fore see and tell the future...
HA! Just razzin[-and jizzin' Nick but I know that you know who--- told me and all that jazz.
Yeh! Ray next door (Touch of Class lead trumpeter) and Rob Lind (another WindTunnel tootster-will be hangin' with us, if we can beg a spot against the wall from BigMac.
Speaking of BLIDE DATES, Last month Kevin was benev'enough and invited me on a date for their last month's Tula's gig to sit and grin and listen...but to my loss...I STOOD HIM UP and went to the Beach instead.
What a cad! so you can see I am a bum date choice...but look an old fart in a Boeing Baseball Cap holding an old Callet double-vari cup mp. )
