for an update on this afro-cuban pioneer, check out page b1 of the new york times for tuesday, april 30, 2002. good stuff. i think it's probably also available online at nytimes.com trumpeter brian lynch plays with him, as well as a 25-year old trombonist who's reported to be amazing. _________________ Jim Hatfield

Eddie et al came out to Boise about a year since and blew the walls down. Brian Lynch plays his ass off, so did Conrad Herwig. He's not 25 though.... although I'm sure he'd be pleased to hear that.... he he _________________ Nicholas Dyson
