Any suggestions for a single backpack case with room for Ipad? |

Which iPad size? I started with the smaller iPad, but due to age went to a 12.9 screen. But finally, had to back to paper because I could see the contrast more clearly.
I have a trumpet size Tom and Will gig bag and cornet size one for my Eb Soprano cornet and each has a small note pouch that straps under the backpack straps. The cornet model's pouch is a bit smaller, and is too small for my half inch ring binder, but it does fit in the trumpet's pouch. My old iPad 12.9 will fit snuggly into the larger pouch, but the smaller one is too small to zip up. I am not sure if the more recent Tom and Will cases are similar.
I did very recently acquire a ProTec Explorer bag, which comes with a larger pouch for music as well as another pouch with room for a couple of mutes. I picked it up at a really cheap price on eBay, and see a few similar offerings. All the bags mentioned seem substantial, but conveniently light and handy.
Guess I shoulda led with the Protec, but the Tom and Will are old friends!

I use a ProTec Pro Pac case, which easily holds my iPad Pro in the outside pocket, with plenty of room inside for the trumpet, mutes, pedal, etc. Backpack straps do cost extra, it's pretty light so far happy with the protection provided. |
