STOMVI 5311 MAMBO TITANIUM 0.469" XL Trumpet Silverplated. Excellent XL BORE 0.469", beautiful horn, good compression and valves. Comes with STOMVI 1C Old Style mouthpiece and hardwood/leather case.
Serial # 384XX. Lynn Nicholson of Maynard Ferguson Band played Stomvi brand Valencia Spain manufactured trumpets.
Sold as is - no returns.
- Excellent compression and valve action
- All slides move smoothly
- Wonderful sound (Lynn Nicholson was known for his high register note playing).
- Two Dents:
1. On top surface of rear bell crook (see photo above)
2. On 3RD valve tube curve above Amado water key (hard to photograph)
3. Same 3RD valve tubing which has the water key appears to be intentionally designed to not be removable (Stomvi design?) |
