Hello everyone, I am selling a unique instrument: it´s a Bb 4-valve flugelhorn Model 12 by Meister Endres from Nuremberg, Germany. Bought as new in 2017 and recently completely overhauled in his workshop. I am the second owner.
The instrument is in absolutely mint condition, after the first owner and was shipped to me from Germany packed by Meister Endres himself. Specifications: Brushed silver finish. Handmade brass, bell diameter 170 mm.
The only flugelhorn bell in the world made from a brass sheet bent in lead. Beautiful engraving on the bell (see photo). Endres stainless steel valves from the workshop´s production. Expanding bore 10,5 / 11,0 / 11,5 mm nickel silver valve outlets.
Telescopic brass leadpipe, short valve section, triggers on 3rd and 4th valve. The 4th valve extends the range by a fourth and extends the overall range of the instrument Water keys on all four valves It is actually two instruments in one.
There is an extra set of slides changing the pitch into low F enabling the player to play parts intended for an instrument in F like a French horn. All valves and slides work perfectly.
My reason for selling is that I need extra cash for a house I´m now building.
Excellent for solo or chamber work. Gig bag included. These instruments are extremely difficult to obtain as this model is no longer made. The price of the new instrument was USD 3940 / EUR 3600.
