Hello all
Wondering if anyone can give me any information on the Yamaha MC-7 condensor clip on mics that are available. I have the old model of silent brass, and I've been taking a line out into a sound board and running it through a stomp box. However, due to what I'm guessing is poor mic quality, it sounds like nails on the chalkboard. So, wondering if anyone has any better ideas.... _________________ Nicholas Dyson

For home recordings I bought a $25 clip on mic from Radio Shack and ran that into my Silent Brass module. I then ran that straight into my cassette deck. Playing with the reverb and sound effects, I have been able to get some pretty nice sounding recordings. _________________ "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams." |
