This horn was made for Sherman Clay & Co. My friend has had the horn for at least 50 years, and is ready to part wth it. It has three lead pipe options: C, Bb and A (a looping tube). It also has a single lever actuating two spit valves at once. I found some info about these horns on the Net.
Do we have a forum or a group of folks who admire turn of the century cornets? _________________ Adams A4 LT

There is a French Web site dedicated to this brand:
https://luthiers-mirecourt.com/thibouville_1878.htm
On it are two catalogs that detail the extensive line of instruments from this maker. It was a large company with a full line of band and orchestral instruments, such as Conn was at one time in this country. _________________ "Strive for tone." -John Coppola
