Hello all!
I am planning on starting a wedding band/dance band to play at my high school dances.
What are some good charts for 3 horns and rhythm section? Where can I find some classic dance band charts?
Thanks! _________________ "Life is a lot like jazz… it's better when you improvise." - George Gershwin |

If you're planning on playing at H.S. (wedding!?) dances, I would rethink using a "Dance Band". That's for an older crowd. Your chances for success and popularity with H.S. students relies more on pop ensembles which, in your case, would be a rock band with three horns (Trpt., T. sax, and Bone) and a singer.
Check with Arranger/Transcriber (or Transcriber/Arranger) on this site. He has a million charts. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

This is what I was thinking, just having a hard time using the right words... _________________ "Life is a lot like jazz… it's better when you improvise." - George Gershwin |

I’ve not tried these but they look promising for a young crowd. https://showbandcharts.com/
I’d love to play them but the band I’m with now thinks George Gershwin is still alive. _________________ Jim Hatfield
