My name is Charley Wagner. I am a member of YoungBlood Brass Band (Since 1995), Tony Castaneda's Latin Jazz Septet (2006), salsa band Groupo Candela (2006), funk/rock band The Big Payback (2009) and Brazilian pop/rock band Groupo Um, Dois, Tres (2011) and also appear with Mama Digdown's Brass Junction and at the Janesville Armory Theater.
I hold both a Bachelors (UW-Madison-John Aley) and Masters Degree (Duqusne University-George Vosburgh. Pittsburgh, PA) in Classical music performance. I'm aways looking for students of any age range and ability level interested in getting better on the horn and can coach a student's school lessons, Solo & Ensemble/Wyso/State Honors/Summer Music Clinic Scholarship/professional auditions.
I play a Yamaha Zeno Bb, Yamaha Flugelhorn (YFH-631G), Bach Strad CL, Blackburn Eb/D, Kanstul Pic, Bach Strad BbL and play mostly on Yamaha Bobby Shew Jazz, Allan Vizzutti, Bach 3C, Bach 1 Flgl, Bach 7FW Pic mouthpieces. |
