I am a comeback player...after 30 years. I have been playing for 2 years now. I play with the Laguna Community Concert Band and the Laguna Swing Society. My wife and I are practicing duets...she plays piano...and we have a great time.
When he is available, I take lessons from Barry Perkins at Cal State Fullerton. He is the principal trumpet for the Pacific Symphony.
I am having a great time on the comeback trail! I hope...and practice a lot!... to someday play in Church.
I am also a serious collector. I have more than 30 Bb, cornets and flugelhorns. Most of them do not get played. I just love the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into making an instrument. My wife complains...but she loves me and puts up with it! Thank God |
