I am selling this awesome & rare Schilke P4 3-valve piccolo trumpet. Serial #4715X
Schilke piccolo is in excellent condition with fast and smooth 3rd valve slide. 3rd valve slide stopper is positioned in order to play the low concert D in tune, when extended. Valves are impeccably smooth and fast. No dents anywhere on the piccolo, except a small little ding on the end of the 3rd valve slide. Happy to email out more pics of the valves pistons and other close-ups, since I am limited to just 5 pics on this listing.

I have not played the piccolo (for almost 20 years) since back when I was playing trumpet in graduate school in Chicago. As a band director now, I just do not use it and it has been kept safely and lonely in a case all this time.

This piccolo has been called "The Brandenburg" piccolo, with its ease in the high range and free blowing feel making it highly sought after and often preferred over Scherzer, Getzen, Yamaha, Blackburn, Bach, Monette, Selmer, Kanstul, and Benge piccolos. |
