Has anyone tried the new Fred Powell Classic 2 trumpets? If so, what did you think?

I play a Powell Signature and have played a few of his Classic models. Fine horns...responsive, free blowing with a solid core. You can't go wrong at that price IMHO.

The new Powell Trumpets are superbly built. I played each one (multiple times) that he had at ITG in May. Once you decide on the basic parameters that you like, he can make some adjustments that really lock it into what you want.
Plus, Fred is one of the good guys in the business. Call him up or message him on Facebook.

I have a 1.5 year old gold plated Signature. It's a super horn! Well made. Fred is a master at horn design. Has paid his industry "dues" and can make a horn that helps you do anything you want.
