i have found one and am wondering if it is as good as the trumpets made back then, or just a junker...

its 1100 dollars what you all think?

If it is the one with the cornet wrap, I have heard that they aren't too special (read good). For $1100 there are a lot of nice 'proven' flugs to be had. lots of choices for that dough.

I bought one a few years back. The pitch is absolutely horrible, but after someone on here sent me an ebay listing where one of those went for nearly $3000.00 , I decided to hang onto it and put it towards my kid's college tuition.

Yeah I saw Dillon's selling that one a while back and had wondered myself. I think the valve section looks like a trumpet valve section .. with the bell being the major difference in the whole thing.

I played this horn recently ... was curious if it was nicer/better than my vintage F. Besson (Paris).

It sucked.
