I'd like to hear him play some solo's too, don't care if they're classical or latin. Just want to hear some different solo players.

I'm not aware of any, but haven't really looked (heard him with TOP, and of course he's on Letterman now -- playing a WT, natch!) I sent him an email asking for a discography; we'll see what happens.

Check out some of the Tower of Power recordings when he was with the group. I'm not a fan of TOP, so I can't say from experience. But it may be a good place to check.

Did you guys catch al chez on VH1 rocking the lead part at the Rock and Roll hall of fame?
