I'm curious to know who's playing what mouthpiece with their Schilke C. I have a beautiful C3 and am looking at mouthpiece options.

Thanks for your input all Schilke C lovers!

I mainly play a 17D4 or a custom 17D4 rim/A cup/B backbore on my B5. On my C5 I usually use a 17D4 or a 17D4D. The main thing is to keep it close to the mouthpiece you use on your Bb.

I use the same mouthpiece on my Schilke C as I do with my Bb, and I am pleased with the results. I often go back and forth between the two trumpets in a performance, so this is a lot easier on the chops than using different mouthpieces would be.
