Some of us older types may remember Jerry Roy, a mainstay at NBC doing remote broadcasts from across the nation. He hosted New Years Eve with Duke's band, The Dorseys and Benny Goodman plus Harry James. Jerry was a drummer and a trumpet student who hung out at my shop for sessions. Definitely one of a kind and a master in the broadcasting business. His most prized possession was a balanced trumpet I made for him modeled after the Selmer Harry James played. I will miss my old buddy.
