Very nice playing; the way you worked out how to properly exploit your special instrument is impressive.
It would appear that you've developed the Yma Sumac of flugelhorns!
Yma Sumac?! Wow hahahahaha
I was crazy to play in the low register using the flugelhorn, but I had intonation problems on my previous horn. I had a Courtois and intonation on the regular range was nice, but it was terrible below F#.
Now I know that it wasn't a bad flugelhorn... not at all! But any 4 valve instrument has the same intonation problems, and I'm not very good lipping the notes, at least notes that are super out of tune, like on the 4 valve flugelhorn
Now, some pictures of the flugelhorn

That is really cool! Turning a flugelhorn into a tuba...maybe you could call it a fluba.
A flugelhorn is a soprano tuba anyway. _________________ BKA! Mic Gillette was my mentor and friend.

Yes! I made the project of this screw ring and Doug Meeuwsen did a incredible job with the lathe. He's a member here: Lipshurt _________________ Robson Adabo de Mello

This horn has also become a good advertisement for Saturn water keys!
