FYI Jeff (BE) has said here that there are so many good mouthpieces being made today, that many will do. Nicola no longer holds a unique place. He likened the Nicola to approx. a Bach 10 1/2 C size.
If you can find a Nicola, why not? But it's not worth beating your head over. Get another reputable average-dimensioned mouthpiece and hit the practice room. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Chris, I responded to your email.
You may be able to find a used one somewhere. If not, a Bach 10.5 C is similar in size, although somewhat different in rim thickness and cup shape.
Plus, there are more mouthpiece manufacturers now than ever. A lot of well-made products out there.
kehaulani, we posted about the same time.

FWIW, the original BE mouthpiece was made by Bobby DeNicola (RIP), and I think it was his 7C. I’ve always seen them referred to as DeNicola, not Nicola.
Good luck on your hunt. |

Actually, the BE DeNicola mouthpiece was close to Bobby's original model 3 mouthpiece (his numbering system was very different from Bach). I asked him to modify a couple of things.
