One trick I have found helpful is to ensure the url includes .jpg or .png at the end. Then the "img" brackets on either end work fine.
Example (purposely leaving the first "img" bracket off so the text will post.)

Good luck! |

Thanks Jeff! I worked it out eventually (after much cursing and hair removal)
I got the hang of it now! |

So I've been using photobucket so I can post pics. I've got maybe a dozen pictures there and now they want to screw money out of me to store pictures on their lousy site.
Well °☆▪︎`#%& you photo#$%&×t!!!
Anyone know where I can store photos without some crumb sticking their hand out?
Either that or is there some other voodoo magic that will put a picture in a post here?
Why does something as basic as including a picture in a post have to be such a nightmare? |

I know this is probably one of them rhetorical questions, but...
The software the site is running is from 2005 and the owner doesn’t want to pay for storage of photos, which is his right and perfectly reasonable. |

I never liked Photobucket even when it was free. When I tried to look at photos stored there, it was like swimming upstream (against a strong current) trying to get past the torrent of ads. _________________ "He that plays the King shall be welcome . . . " (Hamlet Act II, Scene 2, Line 1416)

Well, I don’t know, I didn’t really look for anything, since I am completely satisfied with storing photos on google services. So if I'm not mistaken, each Google account has 15 GB of data storage available by default. This space is used by Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. You can pay extra and increase the storage space, but for me personally this is enough. My friend, as soon as he filled all the free space, registered a second account for himself, especially since Google allows you to register up to 4 accounts for free. _________________ Today, being a writer is easier than ever, and that's because there are many services that will help you write paper online |

Hey guys,
Has anyone had any problems lately posting photos in the marketplace? I've tried several times to post some gear there and after hitting send...nothing happens, just a refreshed posting form.
Heeeeeeeelp...Please! |

The marketplace will silently reject a photo if it is too large. Ask me how I know.... (spoiler alert: BTDT) |

The picresize site referenced when you place a Marketplace ad is a good resource to resolve this problem. |
