I recently discovered warburton and liked the 3d with a 10* backbore. I play a benge trumpet and wanted to get a darker sound without changing horns. Does anybody have some recomendations on that subject? What is the big deal about monettes, is there a way to try them befor you buy? |

Both Warburton and Monette are fine mpc's. I played Warburtons for about 8 yrs. I have a cpl of Monettes, but that is such an expensive cost in a Mpc Safari trek.
3D and 10* backbore? Wow! Yep, that'll give a dark sound. The Warburton sys is a good one. Enjoy!

The only problem with Monette mouthpieces is that if you drop them or mishandle them their sound quality and and playing characteristics change or decrease. And there goes that $200 down the drain. |

QuadrupleC,
Where can I find that list of dealers with kits to try? I saw a list of dealers on the Monette site but nothing mentioned about the trial kits.
Thanks. |
