I've always felt that Timofei Dokshizer's versions were the definitive versions for the Arutunian, but that's just my opinion. Now, if I wanted to hear Baroque trumpet? Maurice was the man for that. Or Wynton - I've always enjoyed Wynton's recordings for Baroque and classical - I felt he elevated the bar for that in the late 1980s.
