Unless I’m misunderstanding: are you saying your range has actually decreased by about a minor third on the Bach? Of course, there are a lot of variables, but if that’s the case I would have that horn checked out. Mouthpiece gap, valve alignment, valve and slide fit and compression….something sounds off.
