I just saw it. A great video.
The trumpet he is playing in this concert appears to be a Selmer Eb.
I bet this concert was filmed in the 80's.

That's a beautiful cadenza at the end. Don't stop it too early.

For such a great player I don't like the fact he uses the same cadenza. I have two recordings recorded ten years apart and it's the same as this one which is later.

I like the cadenza, i would prefer if did other ones. I never saw him do this live so I can't say he did something else in concert.

Interesting he plays middle-of-the-staff C 2-3 in several places - for intonation I suppose.
