I didn't know that Brian Lynch played with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and with Horace Silvers Band!
Who is this guy? |

Who is this guy?
Brian is from Millwalkie Wisc....now lives in Manhatten NYC.
Go to: http: http://www.monette.net or http://www.sharpnine.com
for a listen:
"TRIBUTE TO THE TRUMPET MASTERS..IS A GOOD BEGINNING.
He also has a Website...and is human enough to actually answer his E mails...
He is a genius musician...a college professor, and most of all a super gentleman that has his priorities straight. He is truly a class act.
I love this guy and so thankful to call him friend.
He too will tell you....just how Un-mighty this old toot from Seattle is. About time for him to show up again...@ Tula's or The New Orlean's or Portland at the Monette factory.
Check out his clips.

Ronnie,
I attended a clinic that he once had here in Washington.
This guy is a monster improviser! He's almost like Wynton: he can basically improvise to anything. If I were you I'd get one his recordings. This guy is extremely under-rated.

I have only heard parts of a few of his CD's...Tribute to the Trumpet Masters is one of them. It's on my mental list of CD's to get.
I've only known about him for a few months but he TRULY IS a fantastic and under-rated player. Brilliant improviser and beautiful tone. |

Yeah Ronnie - Brian Lynch is a great player. I must also put in my vote for "Tribute to the Trumpet Masters". He sent me a signed copy a long with two other CDs. Great tone and fantastic delivery... if he played with Blakey you KNOW he has something good going on.
