Anybody ever use a deg hard case for trumpet/flugel? How are they? I saw them on the DEG website and they look really cool. They hold mutes, music, and flugel sits on a hinged compartment that opens for storage. They're at degmusic.com. Thanx J.P.

they look nice... I am looking for a new combo case for travel in leui of my gig bags.. I will see if my local dealer has one.... but those flight cases at trumpetguy.com really have my attention...

those http://www.trumpetguy.com cases are it! Spendy, but worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Invaluable if you're flying with horns.

are they real heavy?

if i get one I will probably order the wheel option... I don't need to thow my back out of wack again, that is for sure..

Yeah, no lie. They are definately heavy. If your back is an issue, (and even if it isn't!) Get the wheel option.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a stronger, more indestructible case than these!
