Prelims/Semis (and Finals?) were today and yesterday. Any results? _________________ Bach 43 Bb

Finals aren't until later in April. Best not to comment on ongoing processes before they are complete. Best of luck to all the remaining candidates! _________________ 2nd Trumpet, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra

Prelims were Sunday and Monday.
Do not take this as gospel, just an approximation.
3ish advanced out of prelims to join 6ish autoadvanced in semis.
2ish finalists including Conrad Jones and Sam Huss. |

There are 5 finalists, including Chad Winkler who is a current member of the PSO. Good luck to all! |

Good to know, thanks. By the way, does anyone know who is retiring? I don't see an associate principal listed on the website. I saw on the Audition Forum that Conrad has been playing the job there for the season.
I was wondering if Chad would audition. I had a lesson with him a couple years ago - killer player and teacher! Heard him play Bruckner 8 with the PSO a few years ago and he sounded awesome. _________________ Bach 43 Bb

Charles Lirette retired sometime last year I believe, his title was “Co-Principal” which is a pretty similar job to the new title since Vosburgh/Wilkinson were/are both “Principal” and then Charles was “Co-Principal”. _________________ 2nd Trumpet, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra
