Putting together a recital of music based on opera themes. Aside from the Arban fantasies, what is some good rep? Any difficulty, originally planned for all cornet but I'd gladly throw some other horns in the mix.
Right now, I'm planning to program Themes from Die Fledermaus (arr. Pappas); Inflammatus Stabat Mater (arr. Wannemacher); Carmen Fatasie (Bellstedt); and one of the Arban fantasies.

| Pierre Francois Clodomir's collection of Petite Fantaisies might be worth considering: Adam, Donizetti, Mozart, Weber....They're fairly easy, sound nice, written for cornet in A. |
