In order to post in the Marketplace, you must activate your Marketplace account. This requires that you have an active Registry account, and at least 5 posts in the Forums. In order to activate your account, you must supply a security passphrase and a 4-digit PIN. When the activation is complete, you will receive an email containing the PIN you chose. At present, it seems that it is impossible to activate your account without providing a PIN, so if the system is requesting a PIN, it should indicate that either (a) you have at some point provided a PIN, and should try to remember it, or, failing that, have it reset; or (b) you are in the process of activating your account and should invent whatever PIN suits your fancy.
At this time, the only person who can resolve issues with Marketplace accounts is the System Administrator (trumpetherald). This includes PIN numbers that have been forgotten, lost, never set, eaten by the dog, eaten by the site software, etc. While we understand your frustration, your Moderators cannot help with this. We do, however, recommend that if you have lost your PIN, you check your Inbox to see if you still have the email sent by the system which contained your PIN.
The only way to receive attention to your Marketplace problem is to contact trumpetherald directly. There are three ways to do this:
1.) Send him a Private Message, from here:
http://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=1
2.) Send him an email, from here:
http://www.trumpetherald.com/forum/profile.php?mode=email&u=1
3.) Use the contact form, linked at the bottom of every page and also right here:
http://www.trumpetherald.com/contact.php
If you need to contact the Moderators about an issue not concerned with the Marketplace, you may do so by clicking the "pm" button immediately beneath this message.
Thank you for your co-operation. |

Todd (sysadmin, username trumpetherald) is the only one who can help with Marketplace issues. He gets busy but usually responds, ping him again if you don't hear anything. _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

Hello all,
My initial login usually gives my a 404, not found text. After I click back a screen, I get my security page where I can type in my pin. It has been that way for some time. _________________ Christian K. Peters

Can you elaborate a bit? What is a 404 (not found a Text) mean?
I click back a screen to get my security page. Elaborate on that too.
I am missing something here |
