I going over to Chucks to buy what is hopefully my last cornet for a while. He's got a Getzen 3850, Kanstul 1530 & 1531 and a Schilke A1. All are short models accept the Schilke which is a long bell with a crook. I'm looking for ease of play and dark tone. Any pit falls I should look out for with these horns?

According to Jerome Callet.....
He reeeeeeeeally loved the Getzen cornet. Knowing Jerry and how pickee'-picky he is when it comes to a quality instrument. I would give that horn a really close-up lookee'see-e- feelee'
