| The entre trumpet section from the Cleveland Orchestra will be giving a day long master class in Freiburg, Germany at the Stadts Theater (Bertoldstrasse 46). This event will begin at 10:00 AM and will last until 6:30 or 7:00 PM. In addition to working with groups on ensemble excerpts, the section will also discuss various other aspects of playing. This is perhaps the first time in Europe that a day long master class by the section of a major international orchestra will be given, and as such it is a rare opportunity for all trumpet players. Join the Faculty of the Longy School of Music and special guests Terry Everson and the Fenway Quintet for a day of all things brass. There will be masterclasses at 1pm and 2:30pm. The day's events will finish off with a concert at 5pm in Pickman Hall. Representatives from Conn/Selmer, SE Shires, and GR will be present from 12:30-6:30pm with many instruments and mouthpieces to try.

From Swing to Swank, The Wiseguys Big Band Machine is an eighteen-piece ensemble dedicated to keeping great music alive. This Montebello-based big band features a screamin' horn line, talented vocalists, exciting soloists, and a roarin' rhythm section.
